Below is a description of a typical finnish sauna procedure.

It looks something like this:

First and most important advice:

Sauna procedure is all about relaxation.

Take enought time for your sauna procedure.

I would recommend to take about 1.5 hours free for sauna.

Leave your clothes in the locker room. You can also wear a clean set of clothes after the sauna. Be sure to include something to sit in the sauna, as small towel or something else that doesnt go too hot and is comfortable to sit on.

Take a shower before entering the hot room. This serves to make the skin moist and to keep away any odors which do not belong in the sauna

Enter the room on the first round. The recommended temperature is 80 to 90 ° C (176-194 ° F), maximum 100 ° C (212 ° F). Initially, the dry air at. Increase humidity by water on the stones of the stove to throw. The use of the vasta during the 1st round is not recommended because the skin is not soft.

Leave the room hot enough if you feel warm and cool yourself off with a shower or a swim. You can also just sit in a room with room temperature or outside. Take a drink when thirsty, but avoid alcohol in the sauna.

For half round to the hot room, which is already wetter than during the first round. Once you’re properly warmed, you can vasta if you want. That feels best with adequate moisture in the air and a sufficiently high temperature.

Let yourself cool down again. You can cycle as often as you want and where you feel comfortable vij. For many people, 2 rounds enough.

Then, return to the hot room for a brief heating to soften the skin

Wash.

After you have washed himself, you can return to the sauna for a while, at
preferably at a lower temperature.

Rinse yourself off under a refreshing shower or go swimming here

Dry yourself with a towel or stay simply sit at room temperature. You can also lie down and just close your eyes if you want.

Take a refreshing drink and a healthy snack depending on your personal taste.

Take sufficient time to cool before you put clothes on, otherwise it goes through sweating. Also ensure that you are dressed warm enoug, because the body is more sensitive than usual after the sauna.
